Adie is an educator and manager. She has been teaching for 29 years, starting her teaching in the Primary school sector teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, before moving into adult education for the past 17 years. She is the Team Manager and Academic Lead for Wintec Te Pukenga’s Professional Development and Adult Learning team. Adie is a leading expert in training trainers throughout Wintec and Internationally, having worked with a wide range of trainers from a diverse range of cultures. She has worked with teachers in China, Fiji, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Solomon Islands, Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu, and the Cook Islands. Adie develops, delivers, and leads several significant projects on behalf of Wintec. Adie is creative and enthusiastic about teacher development within the Tertiary/Adult education sectors.
