Dr. Malcolm Roberts
I am a lecturer at Wintec Pūkenga located in Hamilton, New Zealand. I manage the Grad Dip of IT in Education programme which provides professional development for teachers in the integration of ICT.
Malcolm’s background is a primary teacher and tertiary lecturer specialising in the effective integration of ICTs into learning and teaching. My passion is exploring new ways to integrate digital technologies into learning. Recent research includes a Ph D thesis in the integration of open source software into a senior high school and the place of ICTs in students learning. My teaching philosophy is student centered using digital tools to support learning within a community of practice. Malcolm has over 15 years of online teaching experience with the Graduate Diploma of Information Technology in Education at Wintec Te Pūkenga.
