Elna Fourie is a coach and facilitator at Design Factory New Zealand, and a Principal Academic Staff Member at the School of Media Arts at Wintec Te Pūkenga. Elna works with students, community, and industry partners, often facilitating and coaching multidisciplinary groups to use human-centered approaches to solve complex challenges. She’s passionate about helping learners not only be good at what they do, but about how to be good team members and communicators. Her research practice investigates how to support learners’ personal development for future-focused employment skills, including professional communication, social intelligence, and problem-solving. Elna’s coaching and facilitation experience – in both online and in-class environments – also includes topics of project management, business practice, and career development. As a coach/facilitator at Design Factory, Elna’s worked closely with colleagues from Design Factory to develop courses on the Think New platform.
