I taught English and trained teachers for a decade then moved into workplace learning. I then founded Language Fuel to bring together these two passions. We help English teachers grow their practice. Location New Zealand
Joanna started her career as an English teacher and English teacher trainer. She has a MA in Linguistics, and a long publications list. In particular, she focused on the area of pronunciation teaching. She then moved to the field of workplace learning. She worked for a number of years as a senior manager in the IT industry, responsible for People and Capability, and now works with her own consulting team to provide custom e-learning development for organisations. Joanna brings together both her English teaching experience and her workplace training experience at Language Fuel. Language Fuel is a collection of on-demand course content providing continuous professional development to English teachers. Joanna has written a number of Language Fuel courses herself, and has partnered with dozens of other experts in the ELT industry to provide nearly 100 courses in the Language Fuel catalogue.
