Mel is part of the Learning Team within The National Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. She has a background in science (molecular biotechnology & biology), education, & communication. Curious and research-driven, Mel is an advocate for lifelong learning, especially when it comes to the people, environment and cultural stories of Aotearoa New Zealand.
Mel has worked with researchers, subject-matter experts, and museum curators to create these courses for you. Questions are encouraged in Te Papa courses - we will do our best to point you towards thought-provoking material for your own learning journey beyond the course content.
