My name is Simon Archard and I am a qualified early childhood teacher and a programme leader and senior lecturer at Te Rito Maioha Early Childhood New Zealand. I am currently undertaking a Phd in exploring young children’s working theories of disability. Other areas of research include digital technology in early childhood education and democratic and inclusive teaching practices. I live in Kirikiriroa-Hamilton in the North Island, having moved to Aotearoa New Zealand from the UK in 2001.
